Description

This is a pre-cooked item made with special "Live Unagi (Eel)" sourced from a farm in Kagoshima and Miyazaki. The eel is carefully grilled by a skilled craftsman using Binchotan 備長炭, a high-grade charcoal made from ubame oak, and served with a homemade sauce. The Unagi is produced by Kumamoto's renowned restaurant, "Kawasen," which has limited availability of this product as they only produce it when needed to serve their customers.

The Kawasen Unagi is cooked using the "Kansai Style" - grilled only process (no steamed). The chef ensures the quality of each Unagi before grilling it with charcoal. Each piece weighs around 150g and is served in Unagi sauce. This item is frozen and should be stored at -18°C.
